Your Chance to Have a
Say
We always want to know what you
think about our services so that we
can continue to improve. We welcome
suggestions and feedback in a number
of different ways:
- comments to
clinicians, staff and
the practice manager
- patient
surveys
- suggestion
boxes
- website –
comments page coming soon
- patient forum
- complaints
and comments system
The practice manager is responsible
for handling comments, suggestions
and complaints about any service
provided by the practice. All
constructive comments and
suggestions will be considered by
the practice and patients will be
given an individual response.
We have a formal procedure for
dealing with all complaints. Any
complaint about the practice or our
services should be referred to the
practice manager immediately. All
complaints will be treated seriously
and acknowledged within 5 working
days of receipt.
If, following local investigation,
the complainant is not satisfied
with the response by the practice,
information about how to take your
complaint to
NHS County Durham will be provided. The
Independent Complaints Advocacy
Service is also available to support
you, should you need assistance with
your complaint. Help and advice is
available on 0845 1203732.
Please ask at reception for a copy
of the procedure if you have cause
to complain about any of our
services.
Keeping You Informed
The practice publishes a regular
newsletter four times a year to keep
you up to date with developments at
the practice and provide topical
health tips. Copies of the newsletter are
available in the practice or you can
visit our web site for regular
updates. |
