The shaded area on the map below represents our practice boundaries. We will accept patients within these boundaries. Any patient living outside these boundaries who wishes to register must first seek approval from the practice manager. Patients who are already registered with us but move outside the practice boundaries should also contact the practice manager if they wish to remain registered.

The following areas fall within the practice boundaries for new patients:

Allensford, Blackhall Mill, Blackhill, Bridgehill, Burnopfield (outskirts), Chopwell, Coalburns, Ebchester, Hamsterley colliery, Hat & Feather, Hedley on the Hill, High Spen, Kiln Pit Hill, Low Westwood, Medomsley, Medomsley Road, Rowlands Gill (outskirts), Shotley Bridge, Victoria Garesfield

PRACTICE LOCATION

Oakfields Health Centre is situated in Hamsterley Colliery on the A694, the main road between Consett & Rowlands Gill. Go North East Red Kite bus routes 45 & 46 have stops just outside the building.
